In the 2006 election cycle , HDA funded a “Vote your values” TV ad campaign aimed at four media markets in rural Missouri. The contributions of members made this campaign possible. It highlighted the moral values underlying current political issues. Focusing on Carthage, Kirksville, Columbia and Joplin, HDA worked to help the Democratic Party win the values debate. Strong Democratic performance across the State and big victories in these areas prove values-based political messages resonate with rural voters. HDA thanks its supporters whose financial contributions made this ad campaign possible.
